Most graphics cards are capable of driving two monitors provided you are not running GPU intensive applications. Bet Angel should run fine on most modern graphics cards when using two monitors.

Let me know which card you have and I can try and make some suggestions.

An alternative would be a massive monitor with some screen splitting software, depending on what you want to be looking at

That will easily handle a 2nd monitor. I think this card has 2 x DVI connectors? That would make it easy and cost effective to add another monitor.

TIP: Try and use identical monitors to make it easy on the eye and easier to line up your chosen display. e.g. If you have a 19" monitor then try and add another 19".

I know you can add any size you like but when they run at different aspects or resolutions it can make it tricky.

You can of course use a new larger monitor as advised by Hgodden - this is an option but perhaps more costly.

EDIT. I just checked the specification of this card and it offers a resolution of 2560x1600 in dual link DVI mode so that is pretty impressive.

I have a very basic PC with a NVIDIA GeForce310 graphics card and I have 2 17' monitors which work fine. Think it does depend on what other applications youre running as a previous poster said.

When I done Peters course and saw his setup I was very impressed and even smitten (With his setup not him! (Sorry Peter)

I'll be taking the quad screen setup soon but want to wait til I upgrade my PC

Anybody got any suggestions for online shops selling DVI monitors? Cheapest I can find at the moment is about £70-80 for budget but reasonable quality and size.

What size/resolution are you looking for?

Im not too bothered on the resolution to be honest. Does not have to be full HD or anything as it will mainly be used just for trading. The size I am looking at between 19-22". Im using a 22" iiyama at the moment but its only got a vga connection as its a few years old. Would like to stay at that size but would go down to 19". Considering buying 2 new monitors to keep them the same as you mentioned earlier and need to upgrade to DVI anyway really

I know someone who used these LG E2240S and was pleased.

I am a big fan of Iiyama mainly because of their reliability and service so you may want to consider these Iiyama E2208

I use Iiyama and absolutely cannot fault them. The only thing I dislike about the LG monitors is their brightness which can cause me to squint a bit. That is just a personal thing and it may not bother you.

Monitors a saga! I purchased a 20" LG LCD monitor from PC world over 6 months ago... well impressed with it I updated the graphics card to handle a second unit. Onto the internett, I find the same monitor listed at PC world But "not available for home delivery please arrange to collect from your local store" Well brighton store has not got the unit but the Isle of white store has!!!! as there seems to be no way of arranging for the unit to be delivered to Brighton and as the unit is not available for home delivery; a dilema ensues...... do I go to the IOW... UMMM no! Undeterred but a might pissed off, onto google and and instantly I find the self same unit available for home delivery and around 30 gdp cheaper that I had paid 6 months previously. Elated I press the buy button and then I notice .... thanks for your purchase from "PC world/Currys" your order will be despatched promptly....Its a funny old world init....
