A moment of madness from Pope there
I've just seen it on the sports news.

When I was at school there were near punch-ups over whether the goalie was in or out of his area when handling the ball, so when I first heard about it I imagined it as a VAR, or within a metre of the penalty box.

Watched on MoTD last night and couldn't believe what I was seeing! He was MILES out of the area and seemed to try to do a Superman-style diving header, but ended up cradling the ball in his arms on the ground.

A shame as he's been in great form otherwise.

My word, De Gea is a fabulous keeper. But United might lose this one. Drained by Thursday and distracted by the return leg with Barca.

Noticed that SofaScore have added live xG stats to matches, with a shotmap too? Very useful stuff

I know as an LFC fan I am supposed to despise any success for MUFC, but I'm a footy fan1st and LFC fan 2nd. Why? Because football clubs are embedded in their communties and they all do great work.
Sure, I want LFC to win all the time, but that doesn't prevent me from enjoying the likes of De Gea and Rashford doing great things for their club and fans. Except when they play us, of course. Then I hope they have a mare. :-)

Moyes is a tough nut, but his post match interview suggests he's feeling vulnerable. But I can't see who would be better. Or maybe it's manager psychological alchemy going on.

I think Betfair have added a hyphen between UEFA and Champions League. I'm sure it wasn't there before.

Listening on 5 Live 2-0 now after Courtois mistake. Thats a rare event. Have to exploit this advantage.

I was really looking forward to trading this match but I'm now greened up after 17 minutes.

Wish I was on the 4.5 market now.
