Truss says the dismantling of one country - two systems in Hong Kong is a disgrace - it's just like importing cheese!

What on earth does she think she's doing with those remarks? Has she decided her new role (having screwed up in the UK) is to be the top international hawk against governments she doesn't like?
Now she has fallen out of the elite I do wish someone would muzzle her like she muzzled the OBR on the (catastrophic) mini-budget.
But hey, we believe in free speech even if it is designed to rile countries we should be trying mend relationships with.

And the idea of her receiving the normal ex-PM's £115,000 pa allowance makes me very angry.

In case you missed today's Daily Star, Coffey says peasants should work longer, get a better-paid job and eat cheese & turnip sandwiches. Looking forward to trying chopped turnips with my pasta. :)

The opinion polls have Labour down to a majority of just 44, half what it was when Lettuce Liz was in power, but they still hit a low of 1.5. Perhaps the nation's dislike of turnips has helped. :D

I heard a good quote last night: How anyone could think of involving the King in the NI negotiations and allow that thought to reach his mouth without realising it's a big mistake... :D

Betty Boothroyd passed away today, aged 93. Apparently, she was once a professional dancer and member of the Tiller Girls.

Becoming speaker of the House of Commons was quite a fall from grace.

Boris the Bum must be filling up his vomit bucket while watching Sunak complete the NI deal whilst receiving all-round praise.

Buffoon Boris says it's "very difficult" to support the Brexit deal, we should have "done something different".

There are a few hundred things you should have done differently Boris!

Shouldn't of been an issue as he had his oven ready deal that he failed to impliment

Sunak celebrating the new Windsor deal means Northern Ireland now has access to both the single market and UK market and claiming it as a victory.

Northern Ireland had all this before Brexit, it astounds me that people celebrate this as a win for Brexit, it's nothing of the sort.

This is probably a light-hearted headline but I wouldn't put anything past that Buffoon!

It would seem he is on the brink of political oblivion, but he may rise again like nosferatu.

Surely the best thing Sunak can do is suspend the buffoon from the party and detach himself from the scandal.

Daily Express says stopping the boats can win the election for the Tories. So would fixing the economy, bringing down inflation and fixing the NHS crisis which they deny exists.

Nick Ferrari asked Starmer ten times when he approached Sue Gray for the proposed job but he refused to answer. If he's branding himself as an honest politician he's going the wrong way about it.
