Regarding the many BBC wokesters that have been fired / given ultimatums by Tim Davie, I'm thrilled that Lecturing Lineker can no longer use his BBC platform to promote his appalling views.

I will watch MOTD with interest this evening.

And expect I'll enjoy it.

Wouldn't surprise me if the viewing figures increased if all they do is show back to back highlights and more of the matches and dropped all the garbage talk in between from the pundits

I am aware there is hostility towards migrants but I wonder whether thats more down to the way we integrate them. And perhaps if we did that better those concerns would disappear. Of course if its racism thats a problem, but racism is the problem there, not the migrants. Just my opinion and I don't live on the south coast so have no perception of the concerns people have.
For too long the legitimate concerns of those questioning the unsustainable UK immigration levels, have been wrongly dismissed as 'racist'. Almost all of our public services are utterly overwhelmed and the current tax-payer funded hotel bills to house these invaders is currently 6 MILLION POUNDS per day! This is a crisis that has zero to do with race and to suggest that it has is narrow minded in the extreme.

And on the other hand, we currently have a labour shortage. We also take fewer migrants than our European neighbours. Has this imacted those economies? No. Since 2016 we have been flatlining as an economy while they have shown continuous (barring blips like covid and ukraine) growth.
I follow my Mum's view. These migrants have the get up and go to improve their lives (we only have one). Exactly the people we need. I wouldn't be here without my great grandad migrating from South Africa and his family from Indonesia to South Africa.
We could easily do far, far more. But we're mean. And Braverman and Sunak to be heading up this policy is hypocritical beyond belief.
We can't cope with what we have, let alone 'do far, far more'!! Other countries have better infrastructure and are land-locked borders for free passage, not a tiny island as we are - so hardly a fair comparison.

Our schools, roads, hospitals and social housing in the UK have been at breaking point for many years and are getting progressively worse. Only recent arrivals to our shores could possibly suggest that we could do more, when the reality is during my lifetime the population of our once-great nation has almost DOUBLED!

We have God knows how many millions of undocumented illegals here, and in many cases committing appalling crimes. Our prisons are disproportionately full of those not born here. And most of those came through many other safe nations but wanted to enter the UK due to our over-generous benefits and free NHS system, housing and schooling, and the hand-wringing liberal lunatics that continue to welcome all and sundry. Britain has become a criminal gang-run cesspit in many of our inner cities and the green hedgerows and polite English society that I grew up in during the 70s has ceased to exist in all but very few country villages and hamlets.

Lecturing Lineker is a typical example of the aforementioned lunatics who usually live in affluent bubbles far from the seething inner cities, so they have no idea of the harsh realities of unchecked immigration and it's catastrophic effect on crime and infrastructure.

Depends where you live. It’s a real problem on the south coast where I am located. There is allot of anger and only a matter of time before someone does something stupid. We already had the situation where fisherman blocked the launch of a life boat which was called out because of migrants in distress. There are regular meetings being held and the anger in the room is something you would attribute to 1959s America. No offence meant.

I usually watch Question Time with a 24-hour delay or save it for a late meal. Absolutely nobody supporting the BBC, they've really backed themselves into a corner.

Rumour has it that Nigel is coming back into politics to deal with the immigration issues. Whatever you think of him he will gather allot of public support and as before force a government into bending without the need for actual MPs behind him. Could be interesting and dangerous causing rival sides to go head to head physically, especially in coastal areas.

I feel sorry for people like you. You have fallen for the age old trick of blaming the worst off people for all your problems, while letting off the politicians who are actually responsible for the economy. And the 70's wasnt a golden age in the UK, it was largely a grim decade, even in your white people only hamlets...

And speaking about blame, your kind banged on for years about how awful it was to be a member of the EU and how they were "holding us back". The NHS was being held back too, remember the bus? Now the dream of Brexit is here and its a nightmare, as predicted by a lot of "liberal lunatics"...

But chin up, you can blame Gary Lineker if it makes you feel better

Starmer's being interviewed by the FYI team and he's made the mistake of asking his interviewer questions! Even the buffoon didn't do that!

I with your points in relation to the state of the country and it's infrastructure but that's not the fault of immigrants is it? It's the fault of the Government.

Instead of people outside hotels trying to attack immigrants why aren't they outside Government buildings trying to attack them? there responsible not immigrants. They'll be criminal immigrants no doubt about it but again who's fault is that? The problem is people use the smoke screen of criminal immigrants, they take our jobs, they take our school places in a vain attempt to legitimize there racism because that's exactly what it is racism.

Gary has simply called the Tory's out for what they are the absolute the scum of the earth, incompetent, racist, corrupt with not one ounce of compassion in them.

Yes, I remember that polite English society that chucked excrement through black families' letterboxes and it was normal to have racist abuse thrown at you on the street.

And all those gangland shootings in Merseyside, all the police rapists, etc. They're all immigrants are they?

As for the population doubling in your lifetime, that's due to people having sex!
