Anyone trading today ? looks depressing TBF a whole days worth of all weather
I'm off up to Gosforth Park (only 40 min up the road) it's AW finals day good prize money on offer should be a cracking day for the spectator, decent racing and plenty of drink.
Enjoy!

Commentator fucked up there. Gentleman De Mai has fell, oh no it's still in the race  Hopefully nobody on here fucked up. £55 traded at a 1000 and it was still travelling well and nearly won, traded a low of 1.2 ish.
I love it when the stoploss bot race starts and they chase the price up into the clutches of the sharks.

Getting sick of this TPD data not working properly. They are at all 3 meetings today and my Bet Mover has decided it doesn't like uploading any data what so ever now.

It not the first time this month this has happened.
I'm not trading the racing properly today, but of the several markets I have opened the speed and distance data was coming through fine for all of them in Bet Angel (I didn't have any par data selected)

Maybe just a problem with Bet Mover?

Why do pundits thing this sort of crap is acceptable? Value is punting 101 so is "Andy's" selection a good bet at 1.01 or 1000? It's no wonder so many people think you make money just by looking for winners.

I think it’s probably because the pundits know what the average punter wants. I don’t think many punters are arsed about price, they just want a winning tip. I’ve not seen many punters talk about their good value losers so that’s my best guess…. Supply the demand for win seekers.

The world of professional punting seems quite murky to me. They are either selling a service, advertising, or shilling for a bookmaker. I wonder how many of them even back their own selections.

They must have got Gold Ring and Paramaribo mixed up in the 15:26. Paramaribo traded a low of 2.12 :?

You're absolutely right, and I'd understand that on ITV on a Saturday, but it's a dedicated racing channel so you'd think they'd talk a bit more sense.

Seen this earlier on Good Morning Britain, make no bones about it horse racing is under attack (and has been for some time) whether it be from anti-gambling lobbyists or animal rights activists.

Racing in general sits there and does nothing other than appease them and let them take that little bit more whilst completely disregarding the people who keep racing going like race goers, jockey's, trainers etc

I remember a bunch of animal rights nutters dumping oil on a racetrack to stop racing from taking place. Not one of them had the brains to check whether the flat or NH course was being used.

They couldn't do that now without the risk of the 'Stop Oil' nutters also turning up and protesting them
