If you are not actively pointing at the market you may find that Bet Angel is cycling through them and because there are so many it's not reaching the market to hedge the position.
You need to automatically switch to the market to get it refreshing at the highest rate.

I could do this all day (see below)!
There's always a failure, and it always takes, more than it gives, when it does fail. But from my POV, it shouldn't be failing. I mean 2:30 mins to Green Up, you would have thought that was enough time to get it right. It's not as through I'm Greening at 5 or 10 secs to go.

Thanks, but believe me Dallas, I've tried it with Green Up Only, then Closed Trade Profit Only ... none of them worked!
Here's a list of all the tests that I've done, all failed Green up
![]()
Every rule will trigger 100% of the time if set up correctly, (its impossible from a coding perspective for it to only work randomly, plus the Greening rules are the most used of all of them and it would of failed at least once for one other person in the millions of times it will have been used in the last 15 years or so)
As I've explained before if that rule isn't always triggering then the problem can only be either;
A) You don't have Guardian refreshing the markets fast enough for the number of markets you have loaded
viewtopic.php?f=37&t=11491
B) You have an issue with your connection dropping off or if unattended your PC is going into sleep/hibernation mode and losing connection
C) Betdaq are rejecting the bet for some reason, ie, the stake is to small
The Bet Angel log will show if the rule has triggered and if Betdaq have reported any errors

I don't know. I've tried with Restrict Auto Refresh ... I've tried without. I could have 10 markets loaded or 100 … Believe me, it doesn't seem to matter.
For most of the time, it's been 30 second out, as I thought that was enough to for the Greening to input the closing trade and for it to be taken. Then 1:00 min, 1:30 … now I'm at 2:30 @ 10 times ... and it's still not working!

Back Bet Rule, Keeps Throwing In Lay Bet ??? - viewtopic.php?f=37&t=26198&p=308465#p308465
I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm asking why would the above happen? BTW, i got no reply to that thread!
And let's be honest Dallas, I've been at this since 2017 … not quite as long as yourself, but how many times have I've posted a problem regarding this. And I hate doing it. You're Always great with helping me, but yet again, we're here with the same problem.
Since I first knew you, I've moved house, I've changed Internet suppliers, all the things you asked me to do, Highest Refresh Intervals, Restrict Refresh … I've implemented them ... and yet again, I'm back here!

Have you tried Euler's suggestion to tick the 'Automatically switch Bet Angel market' checkbox?
Also, have you set up a refresh restriction on the advanced tab to make sure markets aren't being refreshed unnecessarily, assuming the BetDaq version has it?
There wasn't a screenshot of the parameters tab in that thread, but if the rule/s were set up in a similar way to the one you've just uploaded here you have both the back test rule and lay test rule configured to place a offset bet with greeningwestbamtrading wrote: ↑Thu Apr 13, 2023 2:49 pmEvery rule will trigger 100% of the time if set up correctly, (its impossible from a coding perspective for it to only work randomly, plus the Greening rules are the most used of all of them and it would of failed at least once for one other person in the millions of times it will have been used in the last 15 years or so)

So the back test rule will place two bets - a back and lay bet
and the lay test rule will place two bets - a lay and back bet
(4 bets in total all placed at exactly the same time)

I can't thank you enough for your time and effort and for your helpful replies.
Auto Switch, Restrict Refresh, Refresh Interval - I've tried them all.
If Auto switch or Restrict Refresh had been successful, I wouldn't be here.
Please, please understand how truly grateful I am to all of you that give help. I mean that sincerely.
Just to let you (not you personally) I've been testing for 3 weeks now. My test bank was £100. I'm down to £52.48, most of which is down to failed Green Up.

Add 10 markets to Guardian
Set the Guardian refresh rate to 200ms
Apply the rules file I fixed earlier
Then as each market closes select the market in the top Guardian window, and at the bottom of Guardian click the log tab
That will show all the rules activity in that market
Has the green up rule triggered in all of them and with out any errors returned from Betdaq
In both screen shots 'automatically switch market isn't ticked'?
If that's not ticked Bet Angel is just cycling through the markets.
If you have 300 markets loaded refreshing at 1 second, it will take five minutes for Bet Angel to cycle through all those and execute any commands. So each market only updates every five minutes.
Just checking it wasn't that simple

Another Green Up fail, using your fixed rule
£10.45 profit, which someone might say is a bonus ... but it's when the next three failures will take me down for a loss.

I'm Desperate, Dallas … and regardless of what you tell me to do, I always end up back here. I'm Desperate.
Quite A look, and I started on 28th march with £100 bank, and I'm down to (was down to) £52, mostly down to failed Green Ups.
If the Free version had a Practice Mode, i'd be using it, 'cause this is painful.
