Dallas gave some very simple instructions here and you completely ignored the first. Just carry out that test, what more can we say?

Try the following as a simple test

Add 10 markets to Guardian
Set the Guardian refresh rate to 200ms
Apply the rules file I fixed earlier

Then as each market closes select the market in the top Guardian window, and at the bottom of Guardian click the log tab
That will show all the rules activity in that market

You keep on saying "I've missed this" "I've ignored that"

Add 10 markets to Guardian - I'm doing now. Didn't do it earlier, because for the rest of the day it was firing fine.

Set the Guardian refresh rate to 200ms - Always has been

Apply the rules file I fixed earlier - Did that, it failed on the 'Fixed' rule by Dallas

- WHAT .... AM .... I .... LOOKING .... 4 ... :?: I don't say that because I'm not doing what you say, I'm asking because IDK what factors would identify a failed trade. What would it say in the log, that would suggest a failure :?: All I can see is 2 x Green Up rules have been triggered.

After identifying an error in the log, Dallas ask me to increase the amount - Done! It's still failing

Loading another 10, do you want me to remove the previous markets, or leave them there?

As I keep saying, it doesn't matter how well you beat your eggs, you won't have an omelette unless you fry them!

Dallas's fix didn't fail, you failed to limit Guardian to 10 markets - that's why the greenup failed.

If you follow those instructions the bot should green up, but if it doesn't, then you can post the log and we can see if there are any other issues. As Dallas said, it's a test.

You can increase the salt & pepper in the eggs but you still need to fry them!

That's 11 markets! The other 10 are suspended and shouldn't refresh but I'd suggest you remove them and just have 10 markets.

If Dallas has told me, kindly put the quote in the reply, instead of talking about eggs. … that's all I ask.
Kindly read Dallas's posts instead of asking me to requote them!

And what am I looking for in the log?

What would it say?

You've put a quote in, and I've rebutted every point!

So before you tell me to read again, or that I haven't done something, wrong, why not just acknowledge that, instead of talking about eggs.

You say that Dallas rule didn't fail, because i didn't have 10 markets. Last night I had all trading markets on, and for the rest of the day it was fine. So today I thought; Great ... the problem has gone,, all i needed to do was to up the amount.

I didn't follow the 10 market suggestion to spite you, I did it, because i thought the Fixed Rule' was working.

Now, obviously IDK as much as you on the technical side, but I have done what's been asked ... and it's still failing.

But Derek42, believe me when I say, that I'm very, very grateful that you're taking the time to help, I really am :!:

The point about eggs is that you have to beat them AND fry them. Not one or the other.

You ignored the 10 market limit advice because you thought it was working but you thought wrong and you could have avoided a long thread by doing it in the first place.

It probably only worked because some of the markets were inactive. You got to a point where more than 10 were active so your greenup rule wasn't firing with sufficient frequency. Automation is useless if it works 90% of the time. It has to work all the time.

But thanks for your gratitude. It's very much appreciated. :)
