Today marks the 34th Anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster

To this day I still remember where I was, who I was with and what I was doing throughout that horrible afternoon as it unfolded

+1 I watched the entire coverage. That sounds bad. But I couldn't turn away and pretend it wasn't happening. 34 years though? Crikey! Its as fresh in my mind as if it was last week.

A dreadful disaster and an even worse nightmare for the families to get some justice in the aftermath

Suspend monkey must be watching the racing on another screen like me as he forgot to suspend on the 3rd Villa goal.

Chelsea lucky to be ahead from a deflected goal, Brighton are all over them

Basically a free lay opportunity on Chelsea for a long time, before the equalizer came

Could Everton be in the Championship with Dele Ali?

Buyers Remorse

It would seem very odd to have Everton not in the top division.

The amount of times my locals Newcastle, Middlesbrough and Sunderland have been up and down while Everton have been firmly embedded in the top division, it'll take getting used to if it happens.

Clement Attlee was Prime Minister the last time Everton were relegated. Quite remarkable

Everton been very poor, been an easy afternoons work for Fulham. Everton look like they have no fight left, the atmosphere coming through the TV has a sign of resignation about it.

No surprise if they ended up in the Championship, Everton have been in decline for years and they've dined out on their success in the 80s for to long masquerading as a "big club".

Some mad results today. Been concentrating on the racing but I imagine some great trading opportunities in the football

Mad? I would suggest the results are confirmation. Only possibly weird one's were was Villa v Newcastle. But I guess we under-rate Emery. His teams aren't dynamic, he isn't dynamic with the media, but he win's a lot.
And then Wolves beating Brentford. That was a surprise.
But the rest didn't surprise me at all.

City has some catching up to do, and no injuries apart from Fodden

They're hitting peak form when it matters most, the most decisive part of the season
