advanced chart time history, how to increase advice please
Hi, so I have all my markets in Guardian but for some reason, at least one of them (13:30 Cheltenham) only has a history of 17 mins from whenever I'm checking it and I can only ever scroll back 17 mins. It's been in Guardian since 11am and as far as I'm aware the settings are the same as all other markets, but that one I just never seem to be able to check further back than 17 mins in the past. I've noticed that a few times recently with various markets (horses). Can anyone help me get around this please so I can see the full time history please? All/most other markets right now seem fine, it's just that random odd one.
There shouldn't be any reason one is limiting you to 17mins if all the rest allow you to go back further.
Is it always around 17mins one gets limited to?
Assuming your market is in Guardian and being refreshed, then in your chart settings the maximum display width in the chart settings is 999 datapoints and the storage is based around that.
It stores half second datapoints to cover the 0.5, 1s & 2 sec display. then stores five second datapoints to cover bigger intervals and finally 30 seconds datapoints to cover 30sec intervals up to 10 min intervals.
