Hi
I know that sounds a daft question, but yesterday I was watching meet, trying to do as Peter suggests in one of his tutorials. I'm watching the market attempting to predict a scenario where a horse drifts.

Because I tend to be a bit slow I have an automation set up that should follow a drifter if the money on the back side is greater than the money on the lay side and WOM is greater than 70%. This often triggers on a horse whose odds drift out one place and then go back. Admittedly some times it often then drifts out again by two ticks, but that is not always instantly and can be for example 30 seconds later.

However, what I noticed though was that with about 3 minutes to go the second favourite drifted right out over the span of about 30 seconds. I guess people at the race saw something they did not like.

What I don't understand is that my automation did not fire on that horse once. Despite it drifting about 15 ticks in a nice smooth action. I'm assuming either the % money difference between the back and lay was not as high as set in my automation or the WOM was lower than 70%, but it confuses me that there are times it triggers and only one tick is gained and then it comes in several ticks and this time it was a confident drift and it did not trigger.

Thank you
Pete
