Hi all,

I wonder if anyone could advise me where I'm going wrong on my automation!!

I'm just starting out so please be patient :)

I think what I'm trying to do is probably very simple but having trouble completing my task.

I want to lay the draw in the odds market and the half time market, so I've populated Guardian with the odds market and half time market and want to lay the draw in both markets
only if the back price on the fav in the odds market is 1.4 or lower.
The first bit is fine and to do it separately is fine. I get stuck at setting a condition that will not mix up the odds market with the half time market.

Hope someone understands this

Thanks

Personally, I don't like to use multiple BAF's for something like this and have a single one that I apply to all the markets I want to check.

I then set an SV at Event level to return the price check I need for that entry condition

i.e
Capture.JPG
This will only return a result for the O3.5 market

Then the SV is set on the same rule, for the price in the market, at Event level, using the Market Type Condition to restrict the market is will be applied to
Capture.JPG
Then use that Event Level SV in the market you want to enter, where you can set the price threshold you require

Still not having much luck with this, not sure I explained myself very well.

I want to lay the draw in the Match Odds market and the Half Time market.
But only if the back price in the Match odds market is 1.41 or below.

Would appreciate any further help with this

Thanks

The Lay rule in the MO market needs a 'Fixed Odds' condition to test the price is less than 1.41
https://www.betangel.com/user-guide/fixed_odds.html

and on the Stored Value tab if you set a Stored Value (give it any name you want) on the Event with an Entered Amount
(this is used to pass the information to your HT market)

Then on your Lay rule in the HT market add a 'Stored Value' condition
to test the stored value named (whatever you called it) is set with a value

Ok, so create a single rules file that you will apply to both markets.
Use a rule with a condition Market Type filter set to Match Odds, and in that rule Set an Event SV using the current back price of the selection required in MO, and the interval\time you need to save it
Use another rule set to Market type Match Odds filter and use the Event SV above as an entry condition <1.41
Use another rule set to Market type Half Time filter and use the Event SV above as an entry condition <1.41

Edit, Dallas beat me to it

Dabbla thank you very much for your help.

Just couldn't get my head around it. I know what I'm trying to do could be easily done manually, but I'm desperately trying to understand the why's and were fore's of automation.

One bit I'm still not sure of is Stored value condition MO_TRUE For The Event Is Equal To an entered amount .....1 !!!

What does this actually mean and do?????

Once again thank you Dabbla and the others that have helped me with this.

The first rule sets the SV (MO_TRUE) = 1, When the fav is below 1.41
It’s just a signal (stored value) being sent to the other rules to say that the (MO) match odds market meets the conditions. It could be any name or number.
The condition your asking about is checking that the first rule has set its sv to 1.
