That's probably all the excuse Putin and Russia need to Nuke Ukraine now.

That's the 1st thing I thought, perfect excuse to deploy tactical nuclear weapons then 2nd how has a drone travelled that far and got anywhere near the Kremlin. Whilst Putin's propaganda may work at home the rest of the world isn't that daft.

Russia is completely on the back foot and they know a big Ukrainian offensive is coming backed up by superior western weaponry, there nearly at the point where they can lie no more to the Russian people so need a way out. Not sure a staged drone attack is it.

The Ukraine's are fighting for their country, freedom, and there lives the Russians don't have a clue what there fighting for. When this offensive comes I hope the Ukrainians annihilate them.

There are Ukraine Special Forces (Spetsnaz) operating inside Russia. The origins of Spetsnaz started in Ukraine. They did number about 4,000 but no idea how many are still alive and how many are operating in Russia. In theory it could have been them that launched the drones and who also blew up some cars of people a few months back on Russian soil. Part of there activities will also be to keep a check on what's going on Nuke wise and report back.

But I do think if the West believes Russia is about to Nuke Ukraine even with tactical nukes then it will strike first or during. Which could lead to WW3 on a huge scale.

Time will tell over the coming hours/days as to what is likely to happen.

Either that or as I said Ukraine Spetsnaz had a go at killing the Bear. As far as I know Ukraine doesn't have Drones that can fly from Ukraine to the Kremlin. Unless Joe sent some special ones.

It didn't look like a serious military operation. It exploded before it hit the Gremlin with the explosive force of a firework. My money is on one of the many Russian protestors opposed to the war.

But now that the Ukrainians know how weak the Russian air defence is, if they didn't know already, and are equipt with long-range ATACMS, next time Putin's in the Gremlin...

Yeah, did look more like a firework.

Also, the ex head of the CIA said that Ukraine intelligence service knows pretty much where Putin is around the clock and wouldn’t have bothered doing it if they knew he wasn’t there, which he wasn’t at the time.

If that’s true though, then to know where a high ranking person is seems to suggest that Ukraine is being tipped off by the FSB or similar. Might be true as many Ukraines worked for the old KGB back in the day. I’m sure information is passing both ways.

I might just do it myself when I have a drink tomorrow. I just need to download a ZX Spectrum emulator, or perhaps I need to look into some more up-to-date simulators.

Derek, start training on the Apache simulator and then get yourself upto Middle Wallop airbase and nick a real one. You can then pick me up and the 2 Ukrainian female snipers and we make quick time to Russia.
