Leeds have sacked their director of football and expected to sack Garcia in the next few hours and appoint Big Sam. Football just gets dafter and dafter.
Can't see it making too much difference. BIg Sam is capable of getting Leeds out of the Championship within a season though.
I'm not so sure tough league the championship, Leeds might even stay up yet
:D True.

Just managing expectations.

Looking towards the"yoof" and the U21 Premier League Tables, there's an ominous comparison of the top 3 in League 2 (although augurs well looking ahead)

For comparison purposes, here's league 1.

Bellingham to Real Madrid fee rising up to £130 million and £400,000 a week. Not sure if any PL clubs were interested but probably only Newcastle and City have that type of money, neither club can compete with the prestige of Real Madrid.

Fantastic player with a big future ahead of him.

He will be a flop over there.

Noticed a lot more manipulation in the goal markets over the last couple of weeks, prices being pushed down a lot more after goals removed then pushed back up.

Just happened in the Juve game after the 1st goal, free bet on offer at 1.75 for a 2nd goal for about 15 min off the back of it., easy to spot and take advantage of.

Think he'll flourish with better players around him, looks very accomplished already even at international level. Still a lot to learn but good luck to him. If he does do well it can only be a positive for England.

I think he will flop. Real Madrid is for seasoned and thick-skinned pros, not fledgling talent. He'll get eaten alive by the Spanish media. He should have gone to City or Liverpool IMO.

I look at how toxic the environment around Bale became. Does enjoying golf and not learning spanish really justify the hostility he recieved? But I think he got what he wanted from Real and they did from him.
I don't put Bellingham in that echelon (yet) and a few slips and the media and fans will be after him.
So yeah, back to the EPL for a bit. Or just stay put. But the mood music would suggest flirting with EPL teams is one of his two favoured options. 1. Real 2. Sit tight on a new juicy contract with a buy-out clause.
I just hope this 19-year old is getting very very good advice.

Real's transfer policy is more focused towards procuring younger talent and has been for a while.

Liverpool couldn't afford him and not sure about City they didn't seem that interested, if they were they'd of stumped the cash up but wonder how much the financial fair play charges hovering over them had an impact.

Considering all the discussions surrounding concusion in football I'm amazed De Gea was allowed to carry on, he didn't look to clever at all.

On another note both teams trying to play out from the back when they clearly can't. Lively game hopefully deliver plenty of goals.

Draw matched at 1.01, under 0.5 matched at 1.01, 0-0 matched at 1.02

Brighton scored at the death with a VAR awarded penalty.

Has anyone noticed it's harder to get matched on the football today?

Without knowing the context that looks like the universal gesture for "do you want a drink" :)

When a goal is scored in the last few seconds I don't know why the ref can't just blow the final whistle. What's the point in kicking off and then blowing it?
