His reasons are ... a stitch-up.

I was referring to the Buffoon Boris bit, does that make Dodgy Derek a buffoon!
And if it came from his "lying mouth" then he's not stepping down because it was a lie! Oh what a tangled web we weave.
That's your definition of an honest person is it? Somebody who on one occasion said something that's true.firlandsfarm wrote: ↑Mon Jun 12, 2023 5:44 pmI was referring to the Buffoon Boris bit, does that make Dodgy Derek a buffoon!![]()

Sorry, if I defined anything, I didn't intend to and can't see that I did but I'm used to certain people trying to put words I did not say claiming I did ... Dodgy Derek up to his old tricks again!Derek27 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 12, 2023 8:33 pmThat's your definition of an honest person is it? But if you want my definition of an honest person it's someone who doesn't go around making spurious personal accusations against those they do not like, using unsubstantiated third party speculations and to make it worse that they do not apply the same standards to others
It wasn't an unsubstantiated third-party speculation. As I said, it came directly from the lying git's mouth, and I apply pretty much the same standard to everybody. It's just that the buffoon leaves himself open to attack every time he opens his mouth.firlandsfarm wrote: ↑Mon Jun 12, 2023 9:51 pmSorry, if I defined anything, I didn't intend to and can't see that I did but I'm used to certain people trying to put words I did not say claiming I did ... OMG, is there no limit to the degree of misunderstanding. I actually clarified for you in a second attempt but hey-hoe let me try again ... I'm not disputing who said it, I get the news on various public forums. Do try to understand that and life will be happier for all. Frankly I despair of trying to have a conversation with people who respond to what they thought/expect you to say and not what you actually say so I will (yet again) be staying silent forthwith ... that will please many. BTW, I am happy!

The deadline for topping up national insurance contributions from 2006 onwards has been extended to April 2025 (was July 2023).
It's not 'happy news' or a cacophonous mariachi band with a dancing horse but it least it's not bickering greenmark.

I've been testing encryption software for the last week. None of it was feasible. They usually convert the file to a new filetype so you can't see at a glance the type of file, and software can't open and edit files unless it's got a command line option, in which case you need a cmd file to decrypt/edit/encrypt.
But then I remembered a post from Shaun, you can upgrade to Windows 11 Professional at cdkeys.com for £9.95, file system encryption comes as standard, fully integrated and seamless, problem solved.

I just noticed tonight I had 80,000+ Microsoft Reward Points, must have been accruing for over a decade. I decided to see if they were worth anything and to my surprise I have just redeemed them for a £54 Amazon Gift Card.
That is just like walking down the street and finding a £50 note lying on the pavement with no one around.
