Nothing complicated. Over the past few trading days (especially on the DAX) we have seen some big drops but also some very sharp corrections when it looks to be a bit extended (in the very short term) - you can see when traders start jumping in opposing moves (or banking profits) by watching the futures price action on the ladder. You start to get a feel for the strength of a move. If the corrections are very small and getting stamped on quickly (I'm talking seconds or less here) then I wouldn't oppose.andyfuller wrote:Any chance you could talk us through your trade today that you posted, why you entered? why you didn't get out when it went lower, why you got out when you did and why you didn't ride it back down (if you can)?
Would be an interesting insight.
Why not trade in the morning? The London session is better than the New York session for most markets IMHO...andyfuller wrote:Cheers for that post. Looking forward to the end of the evening racing and getting my teeth into a new challenge.
As you may have figured from the timing of most of my replies on the forum, I don't see many of the morning hoursFerru123 wrote:Why not trade in the morning? The London session is better than the New York session for most markets IMHO...
Lol, nah just done my fair share of early mornings in the past, used to be up at 5am for more years than I care to remember looking after horses 7 days a week, far easier trading them in the afternoon nowFerru123 wrote:Fair enough!
Are you a vampire then?

No, I had horses of my own and then became a Broodmare Manager looking after 200+ Mares and Foals including some of the best Mares in the Southern Hemisphere, we had a paddock nicknamed Millionaires Row - if you didn't cost over a million you didn't get inFerru123 wrote:Wow!
Were you a trainer then?
