Hi,

In automation is it possible to find out the EVENT TYPE ie. Greyounds, Horse Racing ?

I have a scalping trigger and rather than have multiple triggers wanted to build in the event type into a single trigger and do different things etc.

Thanks,

Not with Bet Angels automation and stored values, they will only retrieve/check the event name
ie, for horse racing it would be 'Aintree 8th Apr' rather than 'horse racing'

What markets would you usually have in Guardian/your rules applied to?
You can probably do it with some out the box thinking

ie, if you had greyhound and horse racing markets you could check for the race distance to be greater than 5F
that would allow it to trigger on all horse markets but not greyhounds as that run in meters

There is a 'market type' condition in the conditions tab so this is possible for some sports but not others. eg in the specific example you give I don't think it would work as the market type for greyhounds and horse racing are both called "win". But if you were doing football matches and horse racing it would work because one market type would be called "match odds" and the other "win".

i haven't looked yet at how the api is exposed via the new BA implementation, but would that not be a possible avenue??

It would yes, I just didn't suggest it as Archery1969 is quite new to automation and that's probably something a bit further down the line for him
