So, during a few hours Russia lost the following aircraft trying to stop the Wagner Group.

- 3 x Mi-8 MTPR Electronic Warfare helicopter
- 2 x Attack helicopter
- 1 x Ka-52
- 1 x Mi-35
- 1 x Il-22M

All pilots were killed, which has been confirmed by Russian news agencies.

Well, they really are sh!te. I dread to think how much they have lost in Ukraine over the past 14 months.

There are videos on the internet of the aircraft being hit, going down and the aftermarth with dead bodies. Not good watching. I guess he had no choice with information being shared on news feeds and the internet etc.

You can get sent to prison for merely mentioning the war in Russia, but kill a few Russian soldiers and shoot down a few helicopters and Putin pays you millions to bugger off to another country.

I'm used to seeing horrific pictures from Ukraine but the sight of a baby/toddler covered in blood takes it to another level. Possibly the attack was ordered by Putin to deflect public attention from his weakness and vulnerability.

Given what the Wagner Group did in a fews hours, outnumbered on paper, then I surpised he CIA or similar just dont go in and kidnap Putin or slit his throat while he sitting on the toilet.
