Need assistance with computer (again)

I use Windows 10 home edition and for some reason the night light turns itself off when I close the computer down - admittedly not a huge impost to turn it on again next time I use the computer. I have attempted everything I can think of (including all the suggestions on Google) but without success. Almost all the Google suggestions include advice to delete certain keys in the registry relating to blue light control. I'm a bit reluctant to do that as I'm not the greatest computer nerd in the world. I have tried setting it to the location setting and it shows the correct setting and rising time for the sun in Melbourne but I stil have the problem. Can someone suggest an easy fix? Would be most grateful.

Also, how do I set the font size in these posts - I have tried to set it to large but it just reverts to normal.
