Can anyone tell me how to make the Watch List automatically pop up when an alert is triggered? Im sure it used to but cannot remember how to do it or if I disabled it a while ago...

Ye I've been playing around with that but it doesn't seem to be doing anything, no sound.wav either. I get the flashing alert in the watch list alert column, but because the window is minimised a lot of the time I want it to pop up to remind me, or at least play a sound.
I wanted to add my own sounds but they never seem to work, so used BA's 'matched.wav', but still dont hear anything. Sounds play fine when manual trading though....

Sound files need to be a .WAV format

Are you sure its that particular Alert that's flashing in your Watchlist?

If none of the others are working either sounds like the rule itself isn't triggering

Ye they're all wav files, Ive just got the BA originals in there now.

It is that alert, but I've got 'fav lost 1st set' in rule 2 and 'Tennis Info with BP game counts' in rule 1... Could it be because its in rule 2 column in Guardian?

It has been triggering today because I've seen the 'Close set' and 'Fav lost 1st set' in the alert column in the watch list when I have it visible yesterday and today. I am also using a nother rules file for the racing, but as these are separate markets I doubt that should be a problem.

Could the Automation rule column cause an issue like this i.e. is it only rules in rule column 1 that play sounds? Although, that wouldn't explain why the watch list doesnt pop up into focus. When some more tennis matches start later I keep an eye out and take a screen capture if its triggering as expected.

Cheers

No, it shouldn't matter what rules column its in

The first thing I'd do is remove all other automation file but the one containing the Alert rule and see what happens then
If that doesn't work you only then need to look at that particular rule and conditions

What you could do is use the Stored Value or Signal tab and just set one of those as the rule triggers and record it to your log
That way you'll see if it has actually triggered or not

It is triggering and popping up... Im spinning 3 plates here today and maybe I just got mixed up with the interrupted tennis and maybe I was viewing something that was preventing the watch list from showing at the front. Still no sound though.... I remember about a years ago playing with these tennis alerts and the things going off every 2 seconds, so disabled the sounds. What is the BA default sound.wav for watch list alerts? I try putting it back to default.

There isn't a default sound for the Alerts that was left for the users to select

You may have disabled all or some of your sounds in the main sound settings area, I've never tried it so not sure if these would effect the alert sound but its worth checking

Remember if you use different settings profiles it might be enabled on one but not the other

Glad the rule itself is still working for you though - at least it rules out having to dig into that :)

It appears that it was because I had this unchecked.... 'Bet Completely Matched alert'. Which seems odd because the alert isnt matching bets... maybe its because this is using the specific wav file 'matched.wav'?

Anyway, it just made a "ping" so happy days 8-)

Hmmm Its shouldn't matter that being unticked - that should only stop the sound when bets are matched
The file itself should be able to be used by alert rules but I'll double check it later to see if I can recreate it

Glad its all working for you though
