I have recently starting trading tennis & have had a successful start at Wimbledon albeit at small stakes. A couple of observations from watching the matches is the number of times that a player has lost the point when at advantage in a game. Anyone had any experience of this from trading or know of any stats for this, like how often this occurs, difference between server or receiver or between favorite or outsider?

The other thing I have wondered are there any stats for winner of games when new balls are used?

This is one of the best sites for tennis stats

There are some ready-made rules files that might help which will alert you to specfic situations like when a fav is facing a break point etc

Or you could fully automate your tennis trading, if you wanted to do this there are a number of ready-made files in the Tennis section that trigger bets at certain points in a match

The Internet isn't short of stats but the missing puzzle piece is prices. It's all very well knowing someone does something x% of the time but without knowing the effect on the market it's no use.

But in general looking for outliers in stats is missing all the other situations where the probability doesn't correlate with the potential price move either way. In fact with everyone and his dog using the same stats and thinking the same way then the value moves can often be away from the eye catchers.
