It wasn't much and I wasn't hopeful of anything but sure enough, the bet's been credited to my account this morning. Always worth a go.
Today's Football
Last night I placed a bet on under 1.5 just after a goal was scored, before the match went in-play and before I even knew the match had started. I complained to Betfair on the chat facility arguing that according to their rules, all bets following the material event should be voided. He said he'd hand over the issue to their traders and get back to be by email.

Argentina Liga Profesional. One of the most turgid leagues to watch. 40% of matches have 1 goal or less. Great if you like 1-0 then backs to the wall football with a healthy side of blatant timewasting.

Some of those figures are quite eye-opening. Banfield, scores 0.54 goals at home but only concedes 0.85!jamesedwards wrote: ↑Sun Jul 16, 2023 6:14 pmArgentina Liga Profesional. Fun to trade if there's any liquidity. Build up a free bet on the over and spend the last 10 minutes praying for a goal.

Makes you wonder how Argentina won the World Cup, I suppose it's because all the real talent is in Europe and it's left with the nearly men. South American domestic football in general is dross.
Like plenty of others though it still pulls you in to trade. Can't whack a Brazilian Serie B game at 1am in the morning when you can't sleep

I hope you watched the Mexico vs Panama game (concacaf Gold Cup final). It was a cracker for a 1-0 game. Disallowed goal in that one too. The workrate was incredible for a Latin American game. Better than usual tournament theme song too I thought https://youtu.be/wTN0DIoMi3U
The problem with the CONCACAF Gold Cup is that some have 5-second delays and some 12, you don't know until the match starts. I noticed that match but didn't realise it was the final.ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Tue Jul 18, 2023 1:48 amI hope you watched the Mexico vs Panama game (concacaf Gold Cup final). I broke all my rules and just fancied Mexico to get it. I just had occassional fivers from 2.0 all the way up to 7.0. They got one in the 88th min
I should do more football, 100% strike rate this year, 2 from 2.
20 grand and I'll show you what I do.

I was wondering how I could have missed the tournament until the final but I see it's a two-team tournament.
