Notepad++
RANT CORNER
Yeah, I'm aware of that, but you'd think by now Microsoft would have updated theirs or even include Notepad++ in Windows.
Choose a memorable date???
FFS, even if you're married, did you pick the day you got married, the day you became a dad or the day you had your life-changing accident?
Memorable place? What person on the planet is so sad they can only remember one place?

Six months ago the vet said my cat needs her teeth descaled for £450, more if she needs her back teeth pulled out. Today I took her in for her checkup expecting to book an appointment for the work, a different vet looked in her mouth and said her teeth are fine!
i think the previous vet was just defunding your wallet for you...Derek27 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 27, 2023 5:13 pmSix months ago the vet said my cat needs her teeth descaled for £450, more if she needs her back teeth pulled out. We had a dog for 17 years. I'm not aware he had any teeth problems. He did, however, have absolutely foul breath.jimibt wrote: ↑Thu Jul 27, 2023 5:36 pmi think the previous vet was just defunding your wallet for you...Derek27 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 27, 2023 5:13 pmSix months ago the vet said my cat needs her teeth descaled for £450, more if she needs her back teeth pulled out. But on the general point vets are better qualified than doctors. Doctors just have one species to deal with. Vets might have to deal with a dog, a cat, fish, chameleon, snake, taranchula et al. You either pay up or dump your sickly pet in a weighted down sack in the canal.
That is probaby the most insightful thing you've ever said on here. But to find the answer you need to dig deeper into her background. That shaven head and "that" song really moved me to several different places. Pain, longing, rejection but also she didn't like being treated like she was only a pretty girl. It was a rebellion.
Somebody told me around the time of that record, she was told by her record producer to grow her hair and she responded by shaving her head completely. Rebellious, yes, but without meaning to speak ill of the dead, quite daft.greenmark wrote: ↑Thu Jul 27, 2023 10:46 pmThat is probaby the most insightful thing you've ever said on here. According to Wiki, she started growing her hair after she was famous until somebody mistook her for Enya, and then she started shaving again. She also wrote an open letter to Miley Cyrus, after Wreaking Ball, discouraging her from portraying women as sex objects, but I guess you know what my views are about women showing what they've got.

Indeed I do know your views about women and you are entitled to then (as we all are in a free (ish) country).Derek27 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 27, 2023 10:57 pmSomebody told me around the time of that record, she was told by her record producer to grow her hair and she responded by shaving her head completely. Rebellion without meaning? Not sure. She was consistently awkward and unaccepting of the things she thought were wrong. She was brave, perhaps made mistakes, but I do think she could have been more "successful" had she conformed. But it seemed to me that was never an option for her.

Have they changed the process? I seem to remember you had to take a sample a day for 4 days.
