A former senior prosecutor reckons if Trump gets convicted, it may not be practical to send him to prison, but he didn't say anything about house arrest.

Not been officially charged yet but I imagine they will be in the coming weeks. Seems like Smith wanted to get Trump charged asap. Been reading as well the Judge has presided over most (perhaps all?) J6 cases and often sentences them harsher than what the DOJ proposed. So if Donnie is found guilty it’s looking more and more likely he’s off to prison.

Pence is a crucial witness. He had been keeping notes on the day and with any luck he may have some audio of the phone calls between him and Trump. Everybody else seems to keep them.

Normally, proving guilt involves a deep investigation of the facts and evidence. But when Trumps says, there's no pandemic, Covid will just disappear like the flu, the Florida sunshine will kill it, you can even kill it with bleach ... this is a pandemic, I knew it was a pandemic before they even called it a pandemic; or when the buffoon said, no parties took place and all rules were followed at the non-existent parties that didn't take place ... I wasn't told [what any 12-year-old would have known] that we were breaking the rules, I was told that [the full-scale piss-up] was a working event; the facts and evidence are plain for everybody to see, way beyond reasonable doubt.
