I'm researching probate for my late mother's estate and one of the questions in the FAQ's is "How do I change my death certificate?". :o  I think the use of "I" and "my" is a little unfortunate!!

It's more than unfortunate, it's quite worrying that that is a frequently asked question.

Isnt the world a bit bonkers? That sentence just doesn't compute for me. I am completely baffled how or why anyone could ask that question.
Anyhow. You can do worse than head to Which.

I followed their advice at a difficult time.

That story and the allegations against the Zambian manager touching a player's chest has reminded me of when I touched a woman's breast in a supermarket. I was putting money in her charity box, she was holding it close to her chest and my hand missed the box. But instead of slapping me in the face she said, thank you very much. :D

Comedienne Georgie Grier was in tears and getting support from well-established comics after a gig at the Edinburgh Fringe with one person in the audience. I was once with a girlfriend at a theme park watching a country & western band and at once stage we were the only audience. We only went in because it was pissing down with rain and felt that we couldn't leave.

Apparently though, they say it's quite common when you're starting out. I certainly wouldn't mind having Georgie Grier all to myself. I'd ask her out for a meal afterwards. How could she refuse. :)

I need to cut a cypress but need something that can cut at 2ms but most importantly, horizontal to the ground.
Every cutter I've seen seems to be designed to cut at 90 degrees to the ground. So that's great for lopping off dangling branches of normal trees, but rubbish for cyrpress that grow straight up.
Niche request. But surely there is something out there?

Codelia Lynch interviewing Imran Khan: To some you are a hero, to others you are a total ... hypocrite!

My ears popped out of my head wondering what she was gonna call him.

England are though to the Netball World Cup Final after defeating New Zealand!

Doesn't it make you feel proud to be English?

We all know of The Sunbed Wars but is there no limit to the entrepreneurial skills of the average 'local' at holiday resorts? I heard a travel correspondent this morning talk of the "45 minute" rule that some hotels in Spain are adopting where if you leave your sunbed unused for more than 45 mins the hotel will remove your stuff and offer your sunbed to someone else. Fair enough, just long enough for a lunch but apparently 'locals' see a money making opportunity there. You can hire a 'local' for €10 an hour to use your sunbed while you have a relaxing lunch or go for a walk/shopping! :D

I was just about to shut my computers down and go to bed when Elton John's Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting popped up in my randomised playist, so I thought fuck it, I'll crack open another beer and listen to a few more tracks. :D

I love the way the news, when talking about obesity, show images of obese people walking down the street with their faces off the camera, in case we don't know what it looks like.

Heard Simon Jordan today on talkSPORT say he's recovering from a prostate cancer operation. He didn't even have any symptoms.

So might be a good time to keep an eye on things now that I'm approaching 40s, he says 1 in 8 white men get it, and 1 in 4 black men.

Odds like that probably shouldn't get ignored. Just to spread a bit of awareness since I knew nothing about it until today.
