still having problems with this I cant seem to solve,. Ive identified the favourite trap correctly, eg the favourite trap, and i'm now nesting that in a group of conditions with adjacent traps, the idea being that there must be runners in the adjacent traps for the bet to fire. i have tried to do this using check for volume of selection in the adjacent traps. but its still not firing !

I think you might be best to change (the volume of selection) conditions to (Store value condition). Then test the (TRAP_TEST) SV against the row.

in case anyone needs this in the future, I have now sorted it. you use the trap test SV to pick out the traps and numbers that are in the race.

you then nest together your favourite, here I used T4 i think, and included t3 and T5 as nominated selections . all must be in the race, for the condition to work, and ultimately for a bet to be placed.

so in this case, it would even fire if the only 3 traps in the race were 3,4,5.

and to summarise, this is now just to ensure that the fav is surrounded by other runners, whether they are 2nd or 6th is immaterial.

can someone tell me why the 'go signal' here might be so inconsistent. eg it sometimes wont fire when it should (and its driving me nuts)
