Don's see that often (at least I don't probably because I've switched off by the end
) Lay money available on Under at 1.15 with the ref about to blow the whistle. Is this normal? If so how have I missed this for so long
What was the price in the Tunisia v Mali match? Probably about 1.5.Michael5482 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 02, 2023 10:12 amDon's see that often (at least I don't probably because I've switched off by the end) Lay money available on Under at 1.15 with the ref about to blow the whistle. I guess they overestimated stoppage time.

Genuinely never noticed as I'm green or red by 80/85 min and looking at the next game or put the kettle on. Makings of a canny little edge there. I'll keep an eye on it going forward.Derek27 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 02, 2023 10:21 amWhat was the price in the Tunisia v Mali match? FFS! 9 seconds!!
flipping hell, now it's gone up to 12 seconds!!
By the time a bet's 2 seconds from hitting the market I can't even remember if it's a back or lay.
4 first-half goals in Panama/France and it's on 5 seconds. Should have traded that.
Brazil could be out before the group stage for the first time in 28 years! I didn't even know womens' football existed for 28 years!

ACL injuries seem to be prevalent in the womens game at the moment. I wonder whether there is too much emphasis on power training rather than blending in agility, multi-directional fitness.
The ACL just sits there. It's job is to prevent your thigh bone sliding forward over your shin bone.
It's a hero/heroine in the human body (and there are very, very many of those).
But if you build big quads and hamstrings. Fine. What happens when you exert maximum power through those muscles and someone leans on you? I've seen and heard how the ACL can let go due to a seemingly innocuous, fair tussle

That was a lovely header from the Norwegian lass. Decent game so far.

Lauren James you silly girl, pure frustration but can't do that with VAR no matter how soft the stamp was.
Hopefully England can galvanise in extra-time but Nigeria have been excellent and England no plan b thus far.

...stupidity of the highest order especially in this VAR football world - but then they are only footballers so you can't expect much sense or intelligence from these attention seeking tattooed fools.
Did Lauren James not see any videos of David Beckham being sent off against Argentina in the 1998 World Cup?

I agree with that view. Except, as Michael5482 pointed out, England have little attacking threat.
They may have to resist, go for ET and pens. Not ideal.

Isn't that just a basic requirement? Professional sportspeople shouldn't really go to pieces when it doesn't go their way. "Showing character' seems to be pundit-speak for doing what they're supposed to do.
