Heard Simon Jordan today on talkSPORT say he's recovering from a prostate cancer operation. He didn't even have any symptoms.

So might be a good time to keep an eye on things now that I'm approaching 40s, he says 1 in 8 white men get it, and 1 in 4 black men.

Odds like that probably shouldn't get ignored. Just to spread a bit of awareness since I knew nothing about it until today.
It's taken me long enough to use my bowel cancer screening kit and now this.

Get to it then and see a trained professional, clearly says to start checking your prostate when over 40.

A checkup is an easy test - done by the doctor - it's all digital these days

So it doesn't involve a doctor using her finger?

Even when you're smashed out of your brains you still learn new things!

Status Quo isn't the original band behind The Wanderer. It was Dion, unless that was a cover version as well!
All this AI nonsense with Frank Sinatra singing Gangland Paradise is gonna cause a lot of confusion!

when i got my 1st *doctor* digit, it was of course a male doctor and a person that i used to see every other day on my morning swim.
Don't know if it was bedside manner or embarrassment, but on withdrawing his digit, he quipped (in an belfast accent) "Yeh know, some folks do this kinda thing for enjoyment...". I'd have normally responded with some sort of comeback, but left it at that - lol (and oooch!!)

That's why it should be a woman. You don't want some bloke getting personal satisfaction out of it!

No matter who enjoys it more either way we're expecting a full report in the rant thread within the next fortnight.

As far as I know there are four doctors at my surgery. Three female and one male, giving me a 75% chance. :)

A far cry from the eighties. I don't think I even saw a female doctor until the late nineties!

flipping hell, Cat Stevens originally sung The First Cut Is The Deepest!

I used to keep telling my nephew and nieces when they were young, who originally sung the song they liked but I never had anyone to do that for me, so I've spent my whole life thinking it was Rod Stewart's song.

I'll have to listen to the Cat's version but I'm sure it won't be as good as Sheryl Crow's.
