Hi everyone ... I am reading hundreds of sites of this forum at the moment which I have printed out ..most about automation ... haha .. to learn and learn and learn .. in one of this posts was mentioned the term something like "Event viewer" or something like this. I am always wondering how I could learn the best way which raceday is when .. some names Peter is droping in his videos .. then I can google it and so on and can put in in my own calendar .. but is there something better to find the big races .. also in Australia, the US .. other countrys .. where ever they are? Similar other sport events ... any idea? How are you other guys are doing this the best way? Many thanks in advance.
I was following racing from the age of 13/14, but it only really takes one year to go through the calendar and find races and meetings you remember from last year.Mastermind wrote: ↑Fri Aug 18, 2023 12:57 amHi everyone ... You can easily download a racing calendar from a racing site like racingpost.com (UK) or racing.com (Australia). The big flat races are categorised as Group 1, 2 and 3, for National Hunt they're Grade 1 and 2, with Grade 3 for the top handicaps.

I understand, thanks Derek for the reply.
On my Windows 10 laptop, I've perminently disabled Windows Defender but still get repeat notification to switch it on, which I have no way of stopping.
The same registry hack doesn't work on Windows 11 so I've just excluded every volume on the machine from virus checking but it's still running and taking up resources.
It happens on most new updates until its been downloaded enough times and Windows eventually learns its safe and can be trusted
If you click the 'More Info' box then select 'run anyway' you'll be able to download and install it
It'll just be a false positive with the bytecode inside the EXE happening to match the profile of a virus.
If you upload the exe to virustotal.com it'll check the file against dozens of different virus checking engines.
You said its the latest version you've downloaded but can you confirm if you mean its the latest V1.61 beta version from the forum, or the latest official version V1.60 on the website and we'll double check

We've just double checked it here and ran it through that virus engine and it's definitely all cleargazuty wrote: ↑Mon Aug 21, 2023 1:34 pmThanks DallasDallas wrote: ↑Mon Aug 21, 2023 1:27 pmIt'll just be a false positive with the bytecode inside the EXE happening to match the profile of a virus.

That virus engine also includes Microsoft's own virus checker so its a bit odd your windows defender flagged it
Thanks both - I thought it unlikely, but best to check and flag.
