is it possible to change display and setting to a specific (previously saved) layout and settings with keyboard shortcuts. Ie I have settings and display completely different for tennis or horse racing. would be great to have when an opportunity is spotted in a sport not currently being traded.

No, that's not something that can be done via a shortcut key

What I want to do is have a keyboard shortcut to simply place a back or lay bet at the best available price and also have it linked with the global settings feature so like if a fast move takes place I can hit the shortcut key and immediately place a bet with a tick or two offset bet for the ladder where my mouse is.
I have installed a lot of keyboard shortcuts already but haven't seen this one.
I would be grateful to anyone that could help, thanks.

You'd create Servants to place the back and lay bets with an offset, and then assign the starting of those to shortcut keys
ie, key 'B' to start the servant that places the back bet
and key 'L' to start the servant that places the lay bet

I've always struggled with keyboard shortcuts. I don't have the steadiest of hands, so I'm prone to lots of typos :)

Yes, thanks Dallas, I will have to get the hang of creating a servant for myself, not my speciality but I will persevere cheers :?
Suggestions on the best place to find relatively basic instructions to create one would be appreciated. I know once I've created one or two that are successful there will be no stopping me :D

Step-by-step instructions

All you'll be doing is selecting the rule type
Place a back bet
Always armed
Trigger once
Applied to Servant context

Then on the parameters tab
Place at (you will want to use servant context if you want to point your mouse at a price, or best price if you just want to point your mouse anywhere on the selection and have it placed at the best price for you)
Set your offset bet

Then once done ways of starting them (you'll only be wanting to look at the first option using keyboard short cuts)
