Todays ladders are pretty light on Volume. The problem it presents is, it creates extreme volatility, you might think this is good but it's not. If your position is wrong and the ladders drop 7-10 ticks against you in a flash you are left trying to close your position in a low liquid market and have to take a further 3-4 tick hit just to close your trade.

Ladders in double digit liquidity and £107k matched on the off. Wolves 17:22
Shouldn't you be prepared for that?
How?

Yesterdays racing.....does anyone know if the 16:10 Salisbury (17th Aug) went as expected? I've got some strange settlement figures for Embesto

I didn't see that. I've seen half payouts before but not sure how so many of those paid zero or pennies? My own logs had one strategy showing Embesto as the winner, and another strategy had it down as a loser. Wierd.

I am still fairly new so i make sure to close out all positions at 0 seconds to jump regardless of if it is red or green, but this was abit gut wretching . Betfair pic is what BA showed until about 30 seconds into race then BA changed to that on its own and Betfair still displayed what it was at time of jump. Betfair was how it was settled.

Stop trading until you have found out what went wrong. Post your log of this race and someone here can probably figure out the issue.

Don't see an issue with a day off. For what it's worth there's not much midweek football either considering all the top euro leagues have started.

The Ebor starts Wednesday so plenty to get stuck into there I'll take advantage of not much football and have a look down to York for the first two days.

I also thought this was odd, especially there being no flat racing when we're in the flat season. I assume the BHA have a reason.
