I like Nouriel Roubini's tweet: 'Manic Depressive markets: this morning not even Fed on hold until mid 2013 and strong signal of QE3 to come can shake the double.'

Sorry I didn't read you wanted live prices, this guy just uses screen scraper software it seems - but if you have a screen with live prices I guess you could use the same principles?

Sounds a bit complicated for me. I just wanted some kind data source to select in Excel.

Try 'File>Save As' in Metatrader - it gives you the option of a CSV file.

I see the FTSE is steaming again.

It was just over 6,000 a couple of weeks ago. Now it's just under 5,000.
