Hi all,

I'm currently writing a new piece of automation and trying to use the "Race leader's speed at this selection's location" data but this parameter doesn't seem to be working. Currently only been tried on first 3 Lyon-Parilly tracks this morning but the value across all selections never moves from 0. My current thoughts are that, because speed data has been available throughout the race then this is either an error (not sure if that lies with BA or TPD?) or this parameter relies on par data which hasn't been available for the races treid so far (not sure why it would though as I'm asking for race leader's speed, not par speed).

If anyone could shed any light on this it would be much appreciated.

Many thanks

Adam

If I remember correctly then 'Race leader's speed at location' requires par data.

Cheers James, yeah that appears to be the case, worked fine at Hexham later in the day. Surprising that that is the case though, speed and distance data should be all that's needed, doesn't actually have anything to do with pars.

Never mind though, just need to add the condition to only attempt when par data is available.

The 15:20 at Newcastle was an unusually tight finish, but it was disappointing to see how far out the TPD tracked positions were vs reality. I don't think I've ever seen a race where the actual winner was only 7th home according to TPD.

TPD 1st actually finished 7th
TPD 2nd actually finished 5th
TPD 3rd actually finished 6th
TPD 4th actually finished 2nd
TPD 5th actually finished 4th
TPD 6th actually finished 3rd
TPD 7th actually finished 1st

I didn't see the race but worth remembering they are travelling around 4meters between each update (assuming you are on the fastest updates of 200ms) and having 7 runners finishing within about a length (2.5m) with the front 4 separated by the bob's of their head it is going to be a bit a lottery as to what order they were last updated in

Seems it's been a bit of a day for it.

18:35 @ Longchamp the actual winner was 12th past the post on TPD, 11 metres and over 0.7 secs behind.

Regarding Louisiana Downs - a significant investigation is currently underway with our US data supplier. The data is reaching the US servers but not the UK ones. If the root cause is not identified and fixed in time for the next fixture, Saturday 26th August, then the workaround is for the US data supplier to forward the data from the US servers to the UK ones. The technical teams are confident that we will have data this Saturday. Apologies for the earlier inconvenience.

Can anyone please tell me how far the TPD data is ahead of BLV (US racing). I'm guessing around 3 seconds? Thank you.

BVL is about 1.5 secs behind live and about 1 second behind TPD.

Thank you, for some reason I thought BLV was further behind live!
