Today I watched the price on the match odds Celtic game vs Scion.
Last night it was 1.53, in the morning it had come into 1.49 headed towards 1.46 by late afternoon. From 90 minutes before KO it changed direction and drifted out to 1.68 and stayed out there!
I looked for dramatic team news and general information but could find no real reason.
What was happening? I cannot work it out.
Celtic vs Scion Pre KO Price Moves?
Sion listed 5 players in their squad that are inelgible for UEFA tournaments - they're playing one of them! A Key player called Jose Goncalves.. this whole match is a dead rubber because both teams know Sion will be thrown out of the tournament for it.. they were told before the match not to play him but they did anyway!
Either way though, I still expect Celtic to win - there'll be a red card in this match too I reckon because the 2 managers were fully blown arguing before the match because of this ineligible player playing... i don't know why the referee allowed him to play, but apparantly he has to accept whoever is on the team sheet and Uefa will deal with it after the game!
Total farse!

Many thanks. It all still seems quite a big swing but the reason must be the ineligible player situation. I often see 5 bip moves in last hour pre KO but this was something else!
Pre match commentary seems to have highlighted the uncertainty: -
Sion coach Laurent Roussey has vowed to play his strongest side despite a Fifa threat of sanctions over a signing ban.
Former Hearts defender Jose Goncalves, Billy Ketkeophomphone, Pascal Feindouno, Mario Mutsch, Gabri could all feature after a Swiss court ruled in the club's favour.
However, world football's governing body has insisted that the players are ineligible for the tie.
