It's the getting used to it that isn't free
But capture software is pretty simple, what I always struggle to find are well featured players esp with slowmo fwd and back. If I need to do that it's easier in an editor than a player, they don't even have the same jog/shuttle wheel my old VHS-S player had! Same with PVRs actually.
The first version I want to use should be for free, even if it´s a testversion only for a limited timeframe...
OBS that Peter mentioned is a great shout and it's relatively simple to use, when actively recording.
But if you have an Nvidia graphics card (or the AMD equivalent) you already have free powerful built in recording software, that also comes with the handy "Instant Replay" feature even when not actively recording as it's always running in the background. Meaning you press one button at any time and the last XX minutes gets recorded and saved in your videos folder.
OBS has a replay buffer feature as well but you will probably need a good tutorial to set that one up.

I just write them here into this thread and would be glad for every helping hand, I will give back also some thoughts and so on to the community then .. but first I have to get the technical side of the Bet Angel trading to be organised. After todays download and installation of the new betaversion v1.61.0_b1 I have a little bit chaos. As it looks like, it seems to have killed some settings .. not sure which exact for now, but obviously minimum is that the race meter ist gone ... the rest I had not the time to find out this evening.
And on the Laptop I use as main device for trading it also shows me this ...

Someone an idea what to do? After installation I opened it and saw the new version in the upper left corner, everything looked good. Then I closed everything ... as I wanted to open it an hour later again, it will not open and shows this message.
In case of this Window Defender Problem on one of my three devices, the Bet Angel Support helped me fast and competent during only some hours. Thumbs up for them also, good job, thanks. Since then the problem did not occur again, it looks finally solved now.
Next problem .. I need to better understand this SP-Thing. So "Take SP" I find out what it is, its "Taking the Betfair Starting Price" .. but I have questions to this in greater depth.
In one of his extremely wonderfull and worthful videos .. Peter said .. the SP can be manipulated .. I see .. I of course dont want to manipulate it .. but if they are a little bit random .. thats what it sounds to me .. this means of course .. what is volatile .. offers also chances to come into positions a little bit cheaper as expected, or possibly come out of them some ticks higher then the last ticks before SP. I will explain how I understand the SP and it would be nice if someone of the fulltimers will correct me where I am wrong.
I am coming from the stockmarkets. .. and I know for example from the german Xetra-System how this works, it has an opening auction as its start at 9 a.m. and a closing auction at 17.30 ... and in my head as I understand it now .. the SP seams to work a little bit congeneric. As I understand the SP is a kind of open auction .. where buys and sells are in ... then there comes one price and all orders without limit in this auction are matched, also all limitorders in that range, means the buys which are limited over SP and the sell tickets limited under SP. Thats how I understand it for now.
I want to follow this to get to know a little bit better how this works .. so where can I see the printed SP-Prices when they are made? Where can I see this? I mean .. especially how much volume the SP finally had ... to compare it to the ticks before and after? OK, after is a little bit random, because it depends on how i.e. in horse races the horse and jockey or in greyhounds the dog came out of the box at the start, but to compare it with the last printed ticks before the SP was made .. it would be interesting to see and another puzzle peace hooked out to understand the processes at this exchange in more detail.
I am also especially interested in how receptive the SP-auctions are .. I mean .. if 400 pounds are in them .. I cannot program a bot with "Take SP" and an ordervolume of 500 Pound for example unlimited ... this of course will move the SP the direction of my order, and thats of course not in my favour. but if this auction will be at 25.000 Pound for example in bigger races or high volume football matches .. me taking SP with 500 Pound will have much less impact on the price .. maybe in this case nearly none and would so of course be possible to do without having an impact or having nearly none on the SP itself.
I have made and in use a custom column "@OFF" for the last traded price before going in-play, I have coded this after I saw it in one of Peters Videos, but what I mean it would be helpful to see something like this for the SP .. the price which is printed and the volume in it.
So I am of course for now not trading with such amounts, but you get the point ... I need to understand the whole system greater in detail.

when I am scalping semi-manually horse races on my laptop, I sometimes stake up in bigger spikes .. andneed to go back to guardian to stop the scalping bot. As I understand a post I´ve read two weeks ago, there must be a rule when I green up manually on the laddar - which then stops automatically and finally every bot activity (bot, not servant) on the selection. It just costs to much time to go to guardian and back ... you come back and the odds are three or more ticks in another direction .. I just want to use the green up short to post time to stop also the bot with this from firing more bets. There must be a rule for this, someone ready to help?

You'd need to use a Servant to green up with on the ladder, that can set a signal or stored value
A condition can then be added to your rule/s in Guardian to test if this signal or stored value is set or not
