Hi,

I want to put an offer in at SP for every dog/horse in a race with a different stake for each dog/horse (triggered say with a min to go before start time)

Also want to do this for every race :)

What is the easiest way to do this please?

You can only offer at SP once it's known, and the in-running market is open. And dog markets don't have one.

I think he's talking about pre-race SP bets with a minimum price.

You need to give more info aceyboy.

Will the minimum price be the same or vary?

Is the different stake for each horse calculated or are you manually choosing your stake?

For eg

Dog 1 - SP with a m/p of $2.50 for $20
Dog 2 - SP with a m/p of $3 for $15
Dog 3 - SP with a m/p of $8 for $8

How will you calculate your minimum price and stake?

As Shaun said, SP isn't available for dogs so it's only applicable to horse racing. Are those prices and stakes in any way calculatable or do you choose each individual price and stake manually?

SP is available for Greyhound racing, what Shaun is saying is you can't place or offer the bet at the SP price once it's known because there is no in-running market for Greyhounds.

You have to Take SP on a unmatched bet or place a SP bet pre-off

With a SP bet you can set a minimum limit but no upper limit (unless you test the current price at the time of placement - which could be very different to the actual SP)

Taking SP with an unmatched bet you'd have to test both the upper and lower prices at the time of placement so it's going to be even less effective
