I have a betfair account in Luxembourg. I use a MAC and I wish to start using Bet Angel, and using a VPS seems the best option.
My question is:
Does the VPS need to be based in Luxembourg (to use a Luxembourg IP) or it is irrelevant the IP of the machine where Bet Angel is installed?

It doesn't matter where the VPS is based or what IP address it uses, providing it's based in a country where Betfair and the use of the Betting exchange is permitted
There are people all over the world using VPS's provided by Bet Angel without problems,
Some used them 24/7 for automation as the connection from the VPS to Betfair is much faster than from there location

No it doesn't the VPS just needs to be in a territory where Betfair is allowed. So in this case the geo IP is set to UK.
We have a number of overseas customers who are not based in the UK who use the VPS service with a UK IP. So you should be good.
