Can any one recommend a charting tool for financials?
I have seen a few screen grabs that were done using Ninja Trading I think and saw Superfrank bought Ninja Trader recently but if I remember correctly it was about $900 which at this stage of dipping my toe in is a bit too much.
TIA.

Cheers Peter, is that what you use? What have been your experiences of it etc?
No, I just know it's popular. My brokers provide me with more free stuff than I can throw a stick at, so I tend to use that but I'm not really into technical analysis that much.
If you fix on a broker and a platform you will find a lot of stuff gets thrown at you for free. I think superfrank said he was paying for the full ninja trader platform.

Cheers for the post Jeff, I thought I saw you posting some ninja charts before, what is your experience of that software?
Hi Andy
I've only used Ninjatrader a couple of times, so I can't comment on it.
I normally just use Metatrader, which is the software that link relates to.
If you're only after basic charting, you might want to get a spread betting account with Capital Spreads.
