I very much doubt the children were the target of the attack out of pure revenge. I wouldn't be surprised if Hamas were in or near the school.

As I mentioned earlier in the thread, the allies bombed a restaurant they believed Saddam was eating at. Even if he was there they would still have killed a lot of civilians, they would have known they're killing civilians but it doesn't mean it was intentional - they weren't the target of the attack.

Yeeah, what a bunch of losers, goin' to the restaurant, eatin' their kebabs where nato's bombs are flying!

I think we can agree killing is wrong, killing civilians is just on the extreme end of killing. Soldiers have a reasonable acceptance that they may die. Civiilans are defenceless. The victims of Hamas were defenceless. Some were at a concert FFS. Hamas are terrorists using civilians as a shield while they plot their next crime.
I'm with Israel. Go in and wipe Hamas off the face of the earth.

All Israel will achieve is the next generation of terrorists/Jewish killers. Hamas leaders are based in Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Lebanon and Iran. Israel can’t go after them without creating a shit show in the region.

I understand your view. But actions speak louder than words. Hamas launched an attack on Israel and are now attempting to use civilians as a shield. Hamas are a pile of shit and they don't care about anybody but themselves.

I'm not nailing my colours to any mast, but with Hamas getting hammered by Israeli attacks, a rocket attack on one of their hospitals that the Israelis could be blamed for would not only be a powerful weapon but something they would do. I wouldn't rule anything out at the moment.

Russia are the baddies and Israel aren't intentionally killing civilians. Plus, Hamas intentionally position themselves amongst civilians so whatever you think of Israeli tactics there's no comparison between the two.

Religions all generally teach tolerance, love and respect, but MEN misusing. misquoting and misinterpreting the extreme elements of religion, have indeed caused much heartache and suffering - 7/7 and 9/11 to name a couple in my lifetime.

EDIT - you could apply that argument to almost ANY war - It's about a twisted ideology that MEN, persuade others is worth killing for. I and billions like me believe God to be love, in it's purest form. See Lewis Hamilton's neck for more info : - )

Whether it is the religious teachings or that some have used their interpretation of religion to create war, religion has still caused it, directly or indirectly.

BTW I have no desire to see LH's neck nor do I care what he has had done to it. Like Gary Lineker he is just a sporting celebrity, his view on life is no more defining than yours and mine.

I've known quite a few religious people who feel when good things happen to them, that's God looking after them. When bad things happen to other people that's down to their lack of faith. But when good things happen to other people or bad things happen to them, they don't even bother wondering why!
