Afternoon everyone
Wondering if you can help with a querie, i was wondering if there is already a automated bot out there which can achieve placing a back bet , green up on selected ticks away, and green /red up on selected ticks away if it goes against me .
i've been a member now for 5 years but not done much trading due to spending most of my time sitting on a toilet rather than in front of my computer. So now hope to have a go at trading , most prob take me another 5 years to learn how to use the forum correctly.

Hopefully
Thanks ;)

A little too much info guzinit, but that's the perfect place to read the user guide from cover to cover a few times isn't it?

Suppose so mate , just trying to get a head start before i end up giving up. Just the thought of starting a manual trade and not been able to close the trade.

Thanks for the reply

You said you want some automation to green up and close a trade, but if starting the trade manually you don't need any automation

You can use Global Settings in the upper left corner of your screen and use 'Offset bet with greening and stop loss'
https://www.betangel.com/user-guide/bet ... tings.html

You then place the opening bet and the software does the rest, if you intend to move on to another market before the first trade is complete just add the market to Guardian and BA will continue to refresh that in the background and trigger the stop loss bet if needed

Id suggest using practice mode the first few times until you have everything set up the way you want etc

The following blog will walk you through the process of creating an automation file and applying it to markets
https://www.betfairtradingblog.com/betf ... tion-easy/

In your case you don't even need to bother with any conditions shown, you just need a 'place back bet' rule
Then on the parameters tab you can use the same Global setting' to place the offset an stop loss bet
https://www.betangel.com/user-guide/glo ... ters_.html

A lot of the examples in the shared files section will do this but they also have at least some conditions and other criteria as part of them, as this is the easiest type of automation to create it will be much easier to do it from scratch than start with an example and have to edit and delete out unwanted parts of one of those
