. With dumb advice like that, is it any wonder we don't listen to nutters gluing themselves to roads?
I'm not sure they're going to book you for HIGNFY with tired old material like that. ;)

I know you have some compassion for people psychological issues. These 'nutters' are genuinely frightened, clearly unable to process it, and are not surprisingly acting irrationally because of it. Its a topic for debate but not for ridicule in my world. I'm not suggesting blankets and cocoa but at least have some degree of understanding.

.The snooker analogy isn't really a good example a better one would be protestors closing the M25 stopping emergency services getting to an emergency and someone passing away which sadly happened last year.
I appreciate your considered opinion Micheal. That was clearly deeply regrettable. But worth remembering that everyday many more than necessary die because they don't even see an ambulance let alone get held up. That's down to someone's principals too.

It's not unlike the sycamore story, one dying is a headline, a football field full dying every 2 seconds isn't.

The positive thing is that everyone (?) wants the same outcome, we just all have very different ideas about how to get there. We've got to hate the game more than the players.

As for me I'm a hypocrite because I'm going to sign off now and go tinker with my car. I'm going to JSO by using it all to make a massive puddle on the garage floor
This is the problem we face

There was a time when anyone who appeared to be talking to themselves were considered a nutcase. Now you generally assume they're talking on a hands-free mobile, but the nutcases must still be about. It's just difficult to positively identify them.

I think the attendees at said cricket match should be given the defendants home address. When he is at home, sipping tea and watching Corrie in his own leisure time, if somebody wants to bang on his door, crawl through a window and throw paint on his TV, then fair play 😉

Just spent over an hour fixing bugs in code that didn't cater for the clocks going back. And they thought we had a Y2K problem!

32 bit problem - by the time that comes around even your fridge will be 64 bit - could be the real y2k nightmare though since is really a software and not necessarily a hardware issue. Everyone will be too wrapped up in major climate change and international problems to fix software to cope - 15 years and counting lol
