Luis Diaz parents kidnapped

https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/67254528
His mum was rescued shortly after news broke out yesterday
That's good news at least
For sure but the situation with his father is looking increasingly more complex and could drag on sadly, with the Mirror publishing an article that he's been found as well after a shootout, but that was fake news

Problem is that their hometown is close to Venezuela which is apparently a lawless shithole so the kidnappers could have easily crossed the border by now

What a nightmare for Lucho, couldn't have happened to a nicer guy, saw him went back to his village over the summer to play footy with the local kids, he's a big role model as the first player of his indigenous peoples to play for the country

United's goal difference is appalling for a club with their ambitions

I think it's back to the drawing board for them
Look at the back four Maguire and Evans centre backs, full backs with no pace nowhere near good enough. Man U just treading water at best this season.

Ten Haag will probably go at some point but the Glazers don't exactly have a good track record when it comes to appointments. Man U need a full overhaul starting with the owners. Man U will go nowhere while the Glazers are still there.
These lineups are a joke, after so much investment. Too many stop gaps and washed superstars, need hungry players instead about to hit their peak

The league needs a strong Man Utd, I too would prefer them being competitive than like this, like in the times when beating them actually mattered
Had a great catalyst to build on from last season as well. I don't think any of Man U's starting 11 gets in any of the top 6's starting 11, all Man City's bench yesterday would walk into Man U's team as well.

I'd be worried if I was a Man U fan.

Seems to me that United are in meltdown. Keep Maguire, bring in Jonny Evans, sack the best goalie on the planet. What is going on at United?
It seems like a warped environment where incompetence from some of the best paid players is accepted. Like Chelsea.

I'm not sure about Chelsea in the same bracket as Man U. I've watched Chelsea 4 times this season and there only a decent striker away from launching an assault on the top 4 IMO

They play some very good football, Brentford would have been out of site by half-time if they had a decent striker. Story of their season so far, if they had a striker they'd be right in the mix.

Sometimes, you regret getting out after the 3rd goal.

Disappointed with the Lazio match, 0-0 after 88 minutes. Started of promising.

A penalty in the 94th minute when you're loaded up on over 2.5, that's taking the piss!

Not seen much of Chelsea for some reason. But will bow to your greater horizon. Man U are just chaotic. What makes a football club. Fans, players, manager, owners. United have fans, players, a really good manager. This pointless debacle with the the Glazers is really depressing, they should F**k off like Hicks and Gillett. The Glazers have supped at the well for far too long. They know nothing about football.

I remember reading the legendary Len Shackleton's autobiography there's a chapter called "What the average chairmen/owner knows about football" (something like that) he left the chapter blank

There's some good ones Steve Gibson at Boro springs to mind but the majority don't care about clubs and only interested in one thing how much they can rinse out a club.

I thought it's alright tbh I've got Stuttgart v Union Berlin on in German Cup on now doing decent money, Wolfsburg v Leipzig has over a million traded on match odds market, probably give the English cup games a miss like and watch Bahia v Fluminense at 10

Yeah, that was a good match, but I was caught out by the goal for a small loss. It's the Derby match for me, followed by Brazil Serie A.

Lovely weather down in Bournemouth for the Liverpool match, could be a patchy game
