I'm really hoping my green on the 22:00 match settles before midnight, otherwise it will be a bad day!

Newcastle are currently the same price as Dortmund for tonight's game, I'm not sure that's right especially in the middle of an mini injury crisis.

Excellent. 1-0 The Toon. I know the Saudi connection is toxic, but Arsenal aren't squeaky clean - Usmanov?
Usmanov sold his Arsenal shares in 2018!
But Arsenal where quite happy to take his money, as were Everton. NUFC are quite happy to take Saudi money.
The ethical values are very similar that was all I was pointing out.
I confess to not knowing of any financial tie between him and the club other than his share ownership and where a club is owned by more than one entity it must be difficult for money to be pumped in unless all agree. That may help to explain why Wenger didn't have much money to spend? Anyway the money Usmanov gave to buy his shareholding would have benefited the shareholders who sold to him, not the club.

I'm a Gooner and I actually cheered when I thought Dier had scored the volley

I might have as well since 1.05ish was a sensible lay there iirc :)

Ange is bonkers, won't be the last mad game Spurs have this season!

I couldn't get over the high line they were playing. At one point the only player inside the half way line was the keeper. And to be fair, they almost pulled it off

Money a bit thin on the ground in tonight's Champions League over/under markets. I suppose bar AC Milan v PSG the rest of them aren't that appealing quality wise.

The City goalie could be having a wank and nobody would even notice, the way the match is going!

Fair enough.
Much more interested in how your home-made crisp exploration went. I bought some McCoys "classic" and I liked them. Next purchase of same I binned. No idea whether it was my taste buds or a different batch that caused the difference but I have not been able to overcome my distrust since.
It should be a great potatoey snack. If anyone can point me at a decent crisp or crisp recipe I will be very grateful.

I guess people eat crisps while watching football so it's on-topic to reply :D

I didn't realise my occasional making of home made chips had reached forum status but I must have mentioned it before for you to comment. So to answer, actual home made crisps are the 'dogs'. Manufacturer home made crisps are a farce! The problem is finding the time and the equipment/skill to make them. I usually make them when I'm in the kitchen and can do so between minding other pans. I find the biggest problem is cutting the potatoes to the best thickness (found by experience and preference for the finished article) and all at the thickness. I now have a fully adjustable mandolin.

For those who like flavoured crisps I have only found cheese powder but never tried it. I think you can get onion powder (but for people of a certain age hedgehog flavour may be more difficult! :D )

As for finding a decent commercial crisp ... no. The biggest problem is consistency. I find a good quality crisp and vow they are the ones but when I buy again a week later the quality has gone and I'm back to square one! Maybe we should have a thread for crisp quality reporting/sharing. :D

I thought my bets were taking their time. 7 seconds for the United match.
