Horse Race Place Market

It seems to be that in a horse place market a loss is not recorded if you assign a stored value, of scope: selection using "the profit & loss of a selection"
It will work ok for a profit in that market and for both profit or loss in a win market.
Can anyone confirm this ?

The P/L can't be stored for place markets due to the way they are retrieved for them

Not that I'm aware of due to the format of how it comes from Betfair
