Morning All,

Please could somebody help? I'm trying to make sure I have as much matched as possible.

Football In Play......Back Bet.......With Offset.

QUESTION
If Guardian places a BACK bet for me at 3rd Best Market Price with an offset of (say) 1 tick.......................

Will the Offset LAY Bet be placed bet at '1 tick below the 3rd Best Market Price' OR '1 tick below a higher back price at which my bet has happily been matched?

Example:
Guardian places Back bet at: 4.8 (3rd Best Market Price)
The best available price at time: 4.9 (Back Bet Now Matched at 4.9)
Is the offset lay now placed at 1 tick below 4.8 or 1 tick below 4.9?

I know you get what I'm asking :geek:

Thanks!

It is probably best not to assume too much.

I think when manually trading the offset is based on where the bet gets match, not where it's placed. But a quick experiment should answer the question. Just create a rule to place a back bet 10 ticks below best price and see where the offset gets placed.
