I don't know what's going on with the U21's today. Ipswich went in play then suspended. Sheff Utd went in play 15 mins early, then suspended 2 mins later
Plus most of the dogs are running very late

The pundits are saying no-one expects Birmingham to get a result against Leicester.
Rooney needs some results or he''ll be sacrificed on the anvil of his owners ego's.
John Eustace must be both bemused and amused. Schadenfreude is an ugly emotion but sometimes it seems apt.

Forest just sacked Cooper, not sure what some of these chairmen expect tbh They were on a bit of a bad run nothing more, wonder how long chairman gives new man if they downward spiral now.

Wonder how long Chelsea will run with Poch, he must be on thin ice if they don't turn this around. New market open today after Cooper went so no money in it.
Chelsea play decent football IMO but absolutely useless around opponents penalty areas at times, mince about to much with it probably because no ones never in and around the penalty spot/6 yard box to pass to.

Toothless and strikerless teams make good scalping teams
Not sure why the EFL Cup semi is still a two-legged affair, this heavily favours big teams to get into the final.
Surely this goes against the very spirit of a cup competition??
And a week long half-time break is hardly exciting. A bit more money for a lot less drama seems a poor trade-off.

Do they still have two-legged matches for the first two rounds? I've never understood why that was.Kai wrote: ↑Wed Dec 20, 2023 3:00 pmNot sure why the EFL Cup semi is still a two-legged affair, this heavily favours big teams to get into the final.
