If I understand correctly, orange face is appealing the decision to the federal supreme court. If the decision is upheld other states could follow suit.

Correct but he has or did have 3 of those Judges on his side. I would say he has a 75% chance of things going his way. But I guess it could go either way.

To save time/effort: out of the U.S. Presidents that are still alive as of November 30, 2023, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama cannot be elected again because of the 22nd Amendment to the US Constitution. All of them were elected twice.

Jimmy Carter, Donald Trump and Joe Biden can be elected president again as they have been elected only once.

DT is being barred because of a Court and not this amendment.

Yes but the trouble is the laws are not being applied fairly and equally. Classified papers are found with Biden and that's OK, classified papers are found with Trump and he is indicted! We had it here, a glass of wine and a piece of cake with people you mix with regularly (therefore only marginally increasing the risk of you spreading a virus) earns you an FPN but a beer and a curry with people you do not regularly mix with (therefore increasing the risk of spreading a virus) is perfectly OK! Seems like one application of the law for the friends of the LL's and a different application for those that are not. Isn't that a form of privilege?
