Potential for further fines/points deduction for Everton
Starting to look like the scapegoat now

Just when they've seemingly turned things around, 5th in the table on goals conceded

11 goals in just 4 matches.

I think it was just 1 between 3 in the last ACN.

I was rejoicing not having to watch it, but then I realised it's on BLV. :(

That's me out, I don't often survive an early goal. But it seemed to be trading quite well so I've put the tourney on my primary filter, and as a silver lining, now don't have to watch it. :D

Stream dropped off about 20 mins ago anyway, manage to get matched for pennies and scalp 42p from the 1st goal  Thought I'd give it as little look but think I'll pick the tournament back up around the quarter/semi final stage.

Sad story this with Sven-Goran Eriksson, didn't know he was a LFC fan

Really puts things into perspective when you're given a year to live at best

I'm sure they could arrange for him to manage one last game

Have to admire the way he's taken it, judging by his appearance on TV at least. It hasn't wiped the smile off his face.

Jose sacked at Roma, he probably want's to call it a day in management tbh He's had an unbelievable management career, but he's in danger of becoming like a boxer who's been at the peak of his powers and continues on trying to prove himself when there's nothing to prove and diminishes his achievements by getting whooped. Pep is the special one now.

On the other side of the coin there's big enough clubs out there who'll probably be chomping at the bit for him. Wonder if the Saudi's at Newcastle are daft enough for a dabble, they have lost alot of form but they over achieved last season (along with a below par Spurs & Liverpool) but Saudi's probably won't look at it like that.

Yep, Everton's mitigation seems to be they've funded the new ground, that seems plausible to me however I don't know all the rules/ins and outs but Everton do look like they've been an easy target.

I'm thinking are these fair play rules actually fair. They appear to be geared towards keeping clubs at a level and stopping their progression while the so called big 6 get richer and fill the Euro spaces season in season out with odd exceptions. Fair play seems to have created a monopoly at the very top of English football.

Great video this week from Peter, analysing the impact of increased injury time on goals so far this season. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x60SXrC ... l=BetAngel

On the face of it that seems exactly what they were designed to do, to protect those already at the top. When it was voted in, almost all the bigger clubs voted for and the smaller clubs voted against. Clubs who voted against were Swansea, WBA, Fulham, Man City ( ), Aston Villa, and Southampton.

Anyone watching Burkina Faso vs Mauritania? Did they just suspend the market for the drinks break?!

Agreed, yet to see any evidence to the contrary. The way they voted is funny indeed, the big clubs to preserve their status quo while the smaller ones to keep the sugar daddy model alive :)
