Today's Football
The great things about statistical predictions, posted by Kai, in football are so subjective, who would have bet on Man City drawing 2-2 with Crystal Palace when Man City were 2-0 up in the game in December. Oh the memory, that match cost me some money!!!
Roy Hodgson, ex England Manager, should be allowed to resign now and not be fired, and what he has done for Crystal Palace avoiding relegation and even achieving an 11th place in the league during his first spell as manager with mediocre resources, should be applauded. I wish him well.

Not gonna lie I hated his time at Liverpool as it felt just the wrong fit with his brand of football, that was the lowest point as a fan, when club was mismanaged to the brink of administration
But what he has done at Fulham for example I thought was outstanding, and to be able to lock horns with the best managers at the top flight for so long is a great achievement

I think his time at LFC was skewed by the Hicks-Gillett fiasco. Palace should be grateful they've had him for so long. If he retires they are Championship material all day.conduirez wrote: ↑Fri Feb 16, 2024 2:59 pmSo very true,Kai wrote: ↑Fri Feb 16, 2024 12:09 pmNot gonna lie I hated his time at Liverpool as it felt just the wrong fit with his brand of football, that was the lowest point as a fan, when club was mismanaged to the brink of administration

On Hodgson - he is a football phenomenon. Country, language, culture has been no barrier to him. He is a remarkable human IMO.

I don't follow football often. But I have read about Roy and seen him being interviewed by media groups and I think he's lovely. A real home grown Englishman managing English football teams.
Respect to Roy. Respect.

Alisson could be a huge miss for the set-piece oriented Brentford
Bad time for Liverpool to get all these recurring injuries to key players like Alisson, Trent and Szoboszlai
They've been getting away with it for the most part but they're entering the decisive part of the season now

+1. I wish him the best for a speedy recovery. I bet they wish they sacked him before he was taken ill. Quite a difficult position for them now.The Silk Run wrote: ↑Fri Feb 16, 2024 5:02 pmI don't follow football often. Damn, 2 more injuries to key players in the 1st half, looks like a crisis already
Hopefully MO isn't being rushed back as well
Would agree with that
They've gone into swag mode but far from over yet
They may have won but at what cost, even Darwin came off at HT for reasons unknown
