Saints go on an unbeaten 25 game run and just don't know how to lose. Suddenly they have forgotten how to win. Psychology is such a key part of any sport.
They're just unlucky the other 3 teams went on similar unbeaten runs at varying times.

Still don't know what to make of it. 1-0 wins are good. But not when your 2 rivals are knocking in goals for fun. March 10th is getting bigger by the week.

Should be a yellow card for booting the ball at the ref!

Indeed. Ran a 5-a-side team and it was a cauldron. So much anger about losing, so much waffle about how we would change things next game. It all went out of the window within 3 minutes of the next game.
First principle of sports psychology is genuine commitment from the protaganists. Otherwise it's just fluff.

Poor Malley. Sad, but a true fact around here. I would give him a big, big cuddle anyhow :)

Great to be in a cup final and would be even greater to win it.

I do wonder though, with these domestic cups, who will really care a month from now.

I wonder whether Klopp is protecting Salah and Nunez for the bigger stuff. In any case this is great for the people coming in. Sheesh! Cup final! What's not to like?

Peter Drury's commentating has degenerated to a 100-decibel scream of the name of anyone who takes a shot at goal.

He's been taking lessons from Clive Tyldesley

Slo-mo makes tackles look worse but being carried off on a stretcher seems fairly conclusive. But no VAR no card.
