That was a proper battle. Brilliant second half performance from a depleted Liverpool side. One point separates the top 3. Three weeks until Liverpool next league game, good opportunity to get players back and have a good crack at it.

Anyone who backed Under 2.5 in the Leverkusen match just as the ref blew the whistle must be quite pleased with themselves!

Cracking game of football. Probably disappointed if your a Liverpool fan as they just about edged it IMO but they didn't put City away. City v Arsenal up next, a draw there and it could be slight advantage Liverpool.
Even as an LFC fan enjoyed that game. The way footy should be. On the edge. Why do I like foorball? There it is!!

LFC fans should enjoy that performance the most, despite the end result

I have to see this one again without the emotions and ladders and will no doubt enjoy dissecting it, some monster statement performances out there

What's wrong with Bumfair? Another match not gone in-play!

Looking at the aftermath now and I'd be fuming if I was Klopp, will be surprised if he doesn't end up with another hefty fine by the end of season

In a nutshell Oliver showcased his City bias yet again, VAR guys are cowards as usual and Mike Dean is nothing more than a studio plant

The standard of officiating is just miles off the standard of the league and the football on display

The draw probably meant more to Arsenal Fans
Bit of banter for the buildup to this match, maybe you missed it :) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Aw2l0nkEPg

Yes it's technically in Arsenal's hands right now

But this is usually when things go wrong 🥶
Yes I did miss that clip

How can this exact team of refs from yesterday's match (Oliver, Burt and Cook) be allowed to do side gigs in UAE, the state that owns City

"If I speak more I'm in trouble" 🤦‍♂️

Thought a draw was fair. City bossed the 1st half, Liverpool the second. City hit the woodwork several times, yet Liverpool missed the bigger chances. Perhaps too focussed on collapsing in the box rather than trying to score in open play?
Your possibly right probabaly swayed by Liverpool's strong 2nd half perfomance. To much of that going on Havertz for Arseanl another example on Saturday, should of had a 2nd yellow for a blatant dive in the box and goes on to score the winner, Brentford had every right to be aggrieved.

Howe is looking a bit vulnerable in his post-match.
I like him so it's puzzling why the Toon have dipped.

Terrible distribution of matches today, everything between 19:45 - 20:00.

Never been to Mallorca/Majorca. What's it like?
Heaven on earth for cyclists.

And very nice for everyone else, too!

Nothing to do with footy but "heaven for cyclists" tweaks my interest. I would say "heaven" would be warm, difficult hiils, great views. Am I close?

Yeah, you're not far off, but the difficulty of the hills depends on the fitness of the rider. :)

I was really caught off guard the first time I visited. The mountains that run along the north of the island are spectacular. You can spend whole days in the hills, then have easier, flatter rides around the fields and olive groves in the southeast. Some of the roads are really interesting to ride. Google for Sa Calobra!

I should say that I haven't been to Mallorca for years now, and the only time I've been anywhere near Palma is on arrival at the airport.

lol. OK did that google. What a place to ride! Gravity is quite a challenge, but if you have those views, the grin-factor must be huge.
I enjoyed/revelled in gradients walking/cycling/running. When walking the steeper it was the more I liked it. Every 5 minutes of effort gives you a really different view.
